Kiwi Raysby Faye PekasComment: Simple, crisp, the kiwi is very defined, you've even captured the juicy nature of the fruit. The lighting is a teeny bit harsh in the top left hand corner, near the top of the uncut kiwi - kind of a slight glare to me, but I don't think it detracts, I did notice it though. Very well done. 8 |

Party Pumkinby JackoComment: Maybe I'm a sick person but I loved this photo. The orange is vivid, the subject is humorous and well executed. I find the white light in the bottom left hand corner a bit harsh and the soft focus on the pumpkin innards near that area a tad bit detracting, but overall I think this fits the challenge in a very fun way. Excellent job. 8 |

a cone exposed in a single shotby ursulaComment: A very interesting way to portray 'exposed'. I like the uniqueness of the idea and its manifestation, though I do have to admit the image is a bit startling. Very nice job in taking something mundane and making it interesting. 7 |

Melon Innardsby christyrackComment: I hate melons, but this is a very beautiful photograph. I like the use of a mirror, and the lighting looks good to me. It works well under the challenge and the more I look at it, the more I like it. I even find the border ties the image together instead of detracting for me. I started with a 7 vote on this but I'm moving it to a 9 - it really has grown on me. |

A rare privilege by jjbeguinComment: Interesting choice! I like the composition, the rich color of the wine is beautiful and the way the lighting is set so it highlights the date is perfect. I'm assuming that was purposeful. :) I even like the dusty quality of the bottle, helps tie in the 'exposed' aspect of the photo. 7 |

Coming Outby amsmythComment: Nice photo, the subject in general is a little over-done, but the inherent interest due to the color and design of the flowers makes the photo stand out. I also like the balanced aspect of it with the furled and unfurled flowers. Nice Job! 7 |

A Chilling Rememberanceby michael_pComment: Very much light the coloring of the photo. Normally however, the very white (blown out I think its called?) area would be very distracting to me, but with the richness in color and the very metallic look of the composition, I think it works - it wouldn't hurt if it were a little less glaring though. All in all, an excellent submission. 7 |

Howdy Ya'llby vtruanComment: Marvelous! I love the composition, the earthy tones are very nice plus the subject is interesting. The lighting is perfect in my opinion and it fits the challenge very well. I couldn't find anything I didn't like. 10 |

Pomegranate - Punica Granatumby JC_HomolaComment: I really like the vividness of the photo, though I do wish the entire pomegranate was in the shot. Definitely fits the challenge, has nice lighting, a little soft on the focus where the skin is covering some of the seeds, but its still a very nice photo. 8 |
