I loved this! Love the softness of it. Makes it feel like she is enjoying her task. Her expression is perfect as she looks like she is concentrating but still relaxed. Am glad you entered this in the proverb rather than the vintage. I agree that it was just right for the challenge. Congrats on top ten but I wish it had scored higher. I think it should have!

I LOVE this...if anyone is taking this literally, then they have no artistic sense. I love a photo that makes you want to create a story about it when you look at it. This does that well!

Great color and stark contrast. Like the subject being totally black. Some others in this competition didn't have that and didn't, in my opinion, truly represent a silhouette. The only tiny thing I see is that it looks like you may have darkened the sky for more drama but in doing so missed the sky in her leg which appears to be too light and negatively draws my eye. Still gave it a 10

I am torn because this is a wonderful moving photo but going to the grave of a loved one is never a feel good experience especially for a child. I think it missed the theme.
