Kite Attack!!

For this contest, I am understanding that negative space = the area surrounding the subject. In this image, that would be the sky, which just isn't interesting to me. The kite is cool, but that's the subject of the image - and there's nothing else that is interesting to look at. Maybe if there was an orange/pink sunset sky or something, I would like this better. Good luck in the contest.

Now see, this I like. The subject is the light through the window. But it wouldn't be visible without the darkness surrounding it. The wood in the light has nice detail. Good luck in the contest.
