Very nice photo. My suggestion would be boost the blue of the sky a little through hue & saturation to contrast with other colours.

Shame about the dull sky some clouds would have given this shot some more depth.

In my opinioon, sky needs to be more vivid for greater contrast.

For this contest, I am understanding that negative space = the area surrounding the subject. In this image, that would be the sky, which just isn't interesting to me. The kite is cool, but that's the subject of the image - and there's nothing else that is interesting to look at. Maybe if there was an orange/pink sunset sky or something, I would like this better. Good luck in the contest.

Negative space should have a purpose. This is negative space for the sake of the challenge. I wish I could see those leading lines more. Use red string or something.

This is an intresting shot. Personal oppinion says that it lacks Wow factor, but I think my entry does as well. Composition here is good. Thinking about a polorizer for the sky but I am not sure it would workdue to the high clouds that seem to cause the illusion of a haze.

I love it. maybe a bit better up further into the corner? He's looking down toward the bottom left, so his eyes might go better further to the upper right. (just a tiny bit). 7

Nice. The faint kite thread however is neither here nor there. I'd rather have it completely disappear, or made completely obvious.

These fighting kites are so fun. I've only done kite fighting a few times, but what a great time. The photo is nice, too. I'd like to see more contrast perhaps to see that kite pop from the gray of the clouds--darker darks, lighter lights perhaps? neg. space is used very well here to orient the kite in its environment.
