I like the way the dock is framed by both boats, the shoreline is also very nice and I like the reflection in the water from the trees. It would have been interusting to see what it looked like without the life saver thingy. |

Good composition. Nice colors. Beautiful reflections in the water. You may want to also tinker with b&w on this picture. I think your compostion would look good in b&w also. |

Nice symmetry here. The lines in the boats and the dock all lead the eye to the trees, whose beauty is enhanced by their gentle reflections in the water. The boats are not the center of interest here, but are certainly an essential part of the composition; calling attention to them with the title is a nice touch. |

Nice coloration, clarity, depth, and natural framing. Wish I was there. Not sure if the boats add or detract. I guess I would have tried the photo with and without the boats. |

I love the richness of the colors here and the separation of the blue in the boats and dock against the greens and yellows of the land. Great focus. What was the apeture used on this one? |

Wow! A great shot. Beautiful colors and I love the symmetry of the two boats. I have been having a hard time finding entries that really meet the challenge, but to me, your says "dog days of summer". 10 |

Very beautiful picture! I love the composition and perspective you've captured here, as well as, the rich tones in the deck and boats. Wonderful color contrast between the foreground and background landscape, as well. Focus is sharp. I just find the detailless and blown out sky to be it's achilles heal. Still, an absolutely terrific picture. |
