| This is the great combination of interpretation and execution. The texture of the ground and the sky creates such a mood to the photo. On top of that, the tree and the model are well composed to deliver the theme. Well done! |

| Striking picture! Great contrast, I like the layers of sky and the texture of the ground. Lots for the eye to do. However, to me it doesn't really convey hope. |

Wow! This feels like a ribbon winner to me. It is obviously a very dramatic image. The silhouettes work well with the dramatic sky. The pose of your model is unexpected and the lighting (especially of his face against the dark sky) is wonderful. I am one of the school of thought that dislikes borders but I try to remain open minded. In this case, the border detracts IMO.
In any event, a fine photo. Congratulations. |

The "feel" of the image could cover a variety of themes as it doesn`t really shout out anything in particular. However, there is no denying the impact and vibrancy of the post processing...particularly impressive given the limitations of the challenge.
Excellent work and with enough linkage to "Hope" to make it successful...9 |

| Great composition. It looks really grainy, however. I'd like better compression. Also, I like the Jerry Brickhimer tree in the background. |
