I can't quite put my finger on why this shot appeals to me but I kept going back and upping the score. I think the use of B/W was a good choice; it brings out the texture in the pedals. Good job.

Wow... This is one of the most beautiful images I have seen - you'd be crazy not to have this on DPC prints. A touch more depth of field to clean up the foreground blurring would have won this image a 10 from me. Even with the foreground issue I find myself staring at it... Excellent!!

Great tonal range and depth of field. I really enjoy this shot. It is very pleasing to look at. Just for my taste, I would like to see the middle of the flower more towards the bottom left. But that's just me. Great image.

Nice DOF and texture on the petals - but the B&W doesn't work for me, I'd like to see this in full color.

Lovely sweeping curves and black and white really focuses viewer on the lines, light, shadow and textures. Nice low DOF coming straight at me in the corner.

WOW .. the best b&w macro so far ... this is amazing !!! .. I think this is the first B&W that I think looks good in b&w .. the tonal range is amazing .. so is everything .. hope this places well (10)
