I gave credit to it in my remarks .. there was no mention of who the photographer was .. De Sousa's is not original either as it was done before. I hope he credited the originator of the composition. I don't know his work and he has no portfolio. Mine wasn't a subtle joke .. it was a just a fun shot based on a photo who's source I included in my remarks ... did every wine, cheese and bread shot get the same remark.. they have been done before? Did every wine glass shot get dinged in votes because of other shots of wine glasses?
Some one should tell De Sousa's his shot is being ripped off - if you Google wine, his shot comes up on the first page of a site called Just Glass with NO photographers name listed.

The glass is as well placed as your finishing position in the challenge. Well lit and a nice setting. Top 3 IMO. |

I think Desousa did somethinbg similar in the past. Very nicely done, I am sure you tried a lower point of view and liked this better. |

Nice Risque shot :) Good concept, well lit too.
Would've liked it even more if the thigh gap lined up perfectly with the wine glass stem - right now it's immediately noticeable. |

DeSousa's worked so well because it was secondary, it took a beat to get the joke. Here the wine is marginalized and the joke looses it's wit, and falls a bit flat. Technically well done, |

Off course this idea has been done before. Fine. No issues. You have rich fabric, a suggestively shapely...wine glass and model and good lighting however the composition is not great. I'd have placed her more to her left and accordingly the bottle and glass avoiding the irritating sudden end of table and cloth. My preference. Others may not even notice it :) |
