Being on time is crucial to getting the right shot as any landscape tog will tell you. A minute or even seconds late and the moment is lost for all eternity.
Real title "The Faraway Tree" for those that know the series of popular novels for children by British author Enid Blyton.
Sunset over the Olifants (Elephant) River, Kruger National Park. Not taken with a traditional wide angle but with a telephoto to emphasize the sun, the baobab tree and get closer to the horison.
I like the relationship of the 3 elements, river, tree and sun and the minimalist ghostly appearance.
Expected crit: Too dark, not enough detail in dark areas, not sharp, not colourful enough, not enough drama, no reflection of sun in river, DNMC, isn't a clock or a stopwatch or a Rolex.

I took bracketed shots of this landscape with a UWA and will make an Advanced Editing Rules Out-take however the scene looked to the naked eye exactly as you see it above and that's the way wooded valleys appear during African sunsets, dark, dangerous, foreboding with a bit of mystery.
@Rugman1969 - You are obviously not familiar with the "Golden Hour". |

I like the darkness. Mystery. Africa. The sun is just-so. Very nice. |

A bit too dark I think. Very nice sunset. The title is true I guess. |

Right place, right time, wrong exposure! You got the sky exposed so well but the foreground is so dark. I can't make out any details. You really needed to bracket your exposures and blend in post. Or else use a gradient layer to brighten up the foreground and mask out the sky... |

Love the colors but towards the bottom left the image looks like it was copied from a video... |
