 A new friend (hi BrennanOB) said there were birds for the shooting at Lake Merritt, across the Bay from San Francisco. I went over there looking for duck butts with feet in the air; I found a Great White Egret just standing around on these strangely prehistoric feet.

Post processing. Levels, Contrast, some other noodling around.
