Most people gave this a six. I would have too... I'd have appreciated a closer crop... and some noise reduction.

| Thanks for the comments. There was a brown grass hopper that I took a few pictures of but it wasn't as big as this one and didn't come out as sharp. |

With the grasshopper and the leaves the same color, a tighter crop would help this. I also think a shallow DOF, to isolate the grasshopper, would help.

| i think the lack of contrast between the grasshopper and leaf may have hurt your score, it's almost like he's camouflaged in there. great detail though, it was a 7 from me |
