can't get much more of a still life than this… I did a more traditional morgue toe tag shot as well during this shoot (this was for a "Feet" challenge), but my model suggested we try this casual pose cause it was funny.

You were robbed of your rightful position by an inferior toe-tag shot which has no detail on its tag and no 'twist'. There's no justice! : )

Congratulations on your 17th placing. The tag of mortalility.

You have obviously taken time and care over this compostion (unless of course you are actually a mortician, in which case get back to work and stop messin' with the bodys!) This picture works very well, the label is key to the success I think. Well done, deserves to do very well

Nice concept, good title and neat execution. Detail on tag is a nice touch and of course the twist of the legs crossed is a master stroke.

My only negatives are: 1. the feet look a little out of shape (sorry) but then I thought - why not? Why the hell does everything have to be just perfect on this site? It could be anyone under there - so that's now a positive! 2. The overxposure is just a little to 'styleless' if you forgive the expression. I'd like to have seen either a more clinical feel to the feet also, or a bit more depth (through some sensitive burning) to darker areas with some higher contrast.

For me though it's one of my favourites and I hope it does well (though not too well!!).

I like the lighting and all white background and shroud...it gives the appearance of death but I assume that with your model's feet crossed this image is more tongue-in-cheek. Yet, if you read the tag it's message is sobering and sad (blunt head trauma) and so I think you're message is kind of confusing.

A little graveyard humor : )
I think though that morgues are usually more dimly-lit than this ... It might be more realistic with different lighting, but you've definitely captured the main subject well.

Morbid! I love it. But the feet apear to be those of the un dead. Dead peoples feet lose all muscle tone.

nice concept. I'm curious, why did you cross the feet?

good humor here - use of B&W works well, composition is great... a ribbon pick

I too had this idea, but felt uneasy doing it. Nice light and idea, not very realistic though with legs crossed ;D.

Only bad point os the bottom sheets, would be nicer if it was head-on. 7

Nice idea, I like the high key look. How did it look with more darkness (to fit the mood)? (8)

Great picture ... but makes me feel a bit queasy, being dead feet and all.
