A nice warm afternoon at the Sta Cruz Beach Boardwalk. These gulls were eying the bag of fries that I had lying next to me, seconds before the attack lol. Good thing I had my iphone to catch it. =)

Processing is mostly:
-conversion to B&W
-color toning achieved through the color balance on CS5. Tinkered with the sliders until it felt right. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to replicate the colors exactly if I did it again.
-Warming filter and very small amount of color efex glamour glow.

I like the image but not so much the frame. I am not sure it did the photo justice. If anything I think it took away from an already good photo.

i personally feel like the border took away from the picture... would hav given a 9 but now a 5... :/

There's something about the processing in this that makes it much more interesting than the typical seagull shot. They look almost dream-like or cinematic or something. Either way, I like it.

This is a beautiful image. Perfectly processed but the border absolutely kills it for me. Please let me know your PP steps on this if you don't mind! I love it! 8 would be a 9 from me without the border.

I like this image but don't like that the birds are cut off on the edges of the frame. a bit of a wing cut off on the one on the bottom left works OK but I find the others distracting.
