I did not realize the Hyacinthia's are related to Blue Bell's...learned something new...(but obvious)...beautiful flower, lovely colors

Funny, I don't call these Bluebells. We have Virginia Bluebells here which are an entirely different plant. I always call these Wood Hyacinths (I have some in my garden) but I've seen several called Bluebells in this challenge.

Which says nothing about your image ;-) So ... nicely composed to show off the individual flowers on the stalk and hint at more in the field behind the flower, nice colors and gentle light.

For some reason, and suprisingly enough, I'm not crazy about the bokeh created in this image. I don't know but the dark patch right at the center is distracting and I think it takes away from the flower.

Good points:

Colours, bokeh, simplicity, focus

Bad points:

A little too much headroom(?), spider's web.

Lovely colors; I think I see a web also; too bad it wasn't in focus also. The shallow dof works here.

I like how the light looks like it is coming down onto the flower.

Back to comment...

Where are the songs of spring?
Where do sweet celebrations ring.
I know a place far from here,
far from world's greedy eye.
Let us go to the Bluebell woods......
Where fragile flowers shyly peep
from out the shadows of the green.
Let us run and leave this place forever.....

Lovely! Simply beautiful! 9
