Oh goodness, you're such a FABULOUS model, too!!!! Congrats on your well-deserved ribbon.
BTW, although I didn't notice it in voting, I too would suggest at least cloning out the wedding ring. Seems odd in the context. Although the more I think of it, perhaps it's a clever, subliminal idea! |

I try not to pay much attention to titles, but this one rocks the photo. Nice colors and treatment. Strong image, I love the backdrop in relation to the rest. I'm reminded of a Tarot card. |

I really love this one - although i wish the apple were in focus. The apple and snake make me think of the Adam and Eve story. Like the man is behind the offering of temptation. Love the colortone. And the eyes are wicked cool too. |

The lighting and the snake are stellar - and this guy is fantastical â€Â¦ the OOF apple is killing me though - I want it to be in focus soooo bad. In fact if the apple was just sitting there on the table, I think it would be just fine but for the purpose of this great image the apple needs to be a bit more crisp since it is being presented to the viewer in such a way =)
Really well done though - would love to see more stuff like this. 7 |

bizarre but wonderful
(as a nit pic I might ask if the image would be stronger if the table cover and hand with the wedding ring were cropped? This would give a strong triangular composition with no distracting elements.) 9 from me |

Wow. The work on the model's eys is phenomenal, and the selection of said model is also phenomenal. The snake crawling over his head is also amazing. One of the first WOW images I've hit in this challenge. |

AWESOME portrait!!!!! Gosh, I'd like to think this could have been one of MY efforts. Even the set looks like my studio :-)
My only tiny gripe is that the apple is not in focus. This would ordinarily not be such a bad thing, but because the detail is so magnificent and profound EVERYWHERE else, I find it detracts from this fine image.
Still, beautiful lighting. Love how the snake seems to be saying "NOW can I eat???" |

Is that a real snake? This has JoeyLawrence written all over it. I appreciate the sarcastic Biblical reference. If I could change a thing, I might have a catch light in his right eye as well as his left. Terrific play of light and shadow. Technically, spot on! |

A striking image, no doubt. I honestly can't decide about the apple and depth of field...good arguments for both approaches. The lighting is very nice, interesting. This photo excels at texture, daring the viewer's eyes to creep up and through the crenelations and depth of the photo. At it's heart though, this photo is the gaze, and the rest is simply artifice. |

Interesting image!! Since the corn snake is an integral component of the image, wish the snake's head was in focus. Wonderful creativity, though! |
