Amazed at the number of people who saw this as a real woodpecker - either they only gave the photo a cursory glance, or they have never seen much by way of real birds! I gave the photo a 6 - I thought it a rather interesting commentary on the relationship between nature and the uban environment.

Great take on the challenge. I have seen this woodpecker pole statue before in pictures but this is one of the better versions yet.

Holy Crap that's an awesome shot! I just hope the speed voters don't blow by this image and miss the woodpecker cause that's really a killer perspective. 10
