wonderful shot. The space below the window adds to the strangedness and mystery of this. She is dancing on a thin ice above something dark and scary. Well done! |

I love this shot. The textures are so rich. The person has such an interesting posture. Love the drips down the center and the tilted horizon. |

This was one of my longest and repeated views of the bunch. I love the crop, particularly - all that space. And the dancer is other worldly. Wonderful. |

I spent quite some time with this. Gave you an 8. I find the perception of space/distance confounding, and this is the strength of the image. She has been distorted in size and motion, what a trip. |

The stovetop was the warmest spot in the house. As they sat around, waiting for the potato soup to boil, the vapors produced an enigmatic vision. |

Dance of the unknown bird/ghosts. We like this one too. And what a solid histogram. |

Well done and worthy of a posthumous! Then again, all your shots are. This one is particularly nice.

Her posture is so awkward it gives me the feeling she is dancing. Love windshield shots. |

An enigmatic landscape, a lone figure who appears to be squatting, an overlay that suggests you shot this through a wet or dirty window. The pieces don't fit together at all, which makes for wonderful tension, intrigue. |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Extraordinary image - the whole inside-out effect is so very strong. I love how many things are ambiguous, the gender of the subject, the position and nature of all of the surfaces, the wider context of the image - is the subject on a boat?? Their posture - are they jumping? If so why. All these questions makes us very interested in the image. I love the composition too - all that negative space up top... and I really enjoy the levels, the way you keep the coat black and formless.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: Fabulous... 9 or 10, 9 or 10....hmmmm |

First I though you should've cropped off the bottom part, then I thought, "What the Hell do I know; it's your picture." On reflection, I like it very much, just as it is. The dark void makes the person's strange body position all the more improbable and thus more wonderful. Thank you. |
