 Climber on the rocks at the Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs, CO. The rocks in the Garden of the Gods are beautiful red rocks knifing up out of the ground and are really fun to photograph. We got there just as the sun was setting and it was so cold we only stayed for about 1/2 an hour but I was lucky enough to spot this climber and take a few shots. The show was taken at 18mm and I am standing closer to the rocks than it appears so the shot is almost strait up. Not sure it will do that well in voting but it does meet the challenge and was close to the shot I was hoping for. The rock he is standing on is very thin, where he is standing is probably 2-3 feet wide with the same drop off on each side of the rock.

Completely underrated in my opinion. I was your nine. One of only two that I gave out this challenge

Very imposing; just missing a bit of depth in the lighting, and perhaps some more color. This would also work well in b/w.

I really like the idea, with the rope leading your eye up the rock face. This photo seems to be lacking contrast though; it's coming across as very flat to me.
