 It's official: I simply don't know how to choose the right image for the challenge. I know this won't do well, but I just can't bring myself to enter a building-from-the-ground image. There is one other shot that I'm vacillating about, possibly more DPC-friendly, but I clearly don't know what that is. Even so, I just love this one. So be it.

ps .. IMHO .. choosing the right image for the challenge often comes down to realising what the majority of ppl find appealing .. that is not always the 'best' image in an artistic sense .. also there's the first impact thing .. if it needs a bit'v time or even a bit'v thought then it suffers .. this is just wonderful .. a majority of 5's is totally ridiculous .. :)x

I think the motion adds to this Johanna. I rather like it. I didn't vote in this challenge, no time this week, but would have rated this quite highly as it's a bit more interesting than many of the other images. You have a very interesting score distribution

I thought this was beautifully captured and gave it an eight. Always enter what you like as I would much prefer to see what the photographer enjoys than what they believe their client (DPC Voters) want.

Grog gives kudos for entering image that Guurl, like, not one Guurl knows would have score-magic. (Grog enter cliche building shot, not do much better.) Guurl may sit at table of honor in alley with Grog.

For me I'm not crazy about the motion blur of the person going up the stairs ... just my opinion ... I like the rest of the photo ...

Yes, server-of-meals, run to prepare table of honor for Grog's party! Friends of Grog will eat well tonight at fancy place that Grog cannot pronounce. Grog will sit at table with Thag, Kron and Ugggg to eat and drink and tell stories of hunting and greatness. All is good.

Grog has question, though. Why is Grog's table of honor in alley?
