| I'd say you won, but only by a slight edge. Sounds like a fun game, though. I like it for the reasons you've noted. And what the heck is that filter you speak of? |

| What an interesting image. So carefully done. Just right amount of sharpness in the leaves and mask. I really like the background. The circular speck highlights ad to this unique feel. |

I have no idea what that is (my first thought was a WWI gas mask) but it's quirkiness, the use of DoF, composition and lighting makes for a great photo. I like the title also - 8 come back to bump to a 9. |
