| Wonderful subject and composition. Your use of color desaturation and the interplay of lighting and shadows really makes the subject pop. I also like the low POV used since it highlights the balance point on the subjects skates. One element I found distracting though is the dark line against the backboards. It blends in with the sillouhette of the skater. Nice shot nonetheless.... 7 |

| This is a brillaint image but I think the post-processing has ruined it. I don't know if you were trying to get details from areas where it didn't exist or you went a little overboard. If not for the post-processing flaws, I would have given it at least a 9. To me this is photography as a form of art. The whole image has a nice flow and balance to it and it's beautiful. Pity that an image like this has halos and all. |

| This shot is quite evocative. It provides a real sense of drama and emotion. I personally would have left a bit more space at the top of the image. The choice of black and white really adds to the emotion. |

| What a graceful motion/position you've captured. I like the sweep on the lines in the ice that mirror the movement of the skater. Wish that black gap weren't there!! |
