 In March we took the boys to New Orleans. We walked allll...the...wayyyy to the National WWII Museum (the funniest and longest walk everrrr)

I'm really not a history buff or fan of museums, but this one is really well done. Lots of fascinating info in there. A must-see if you visit New Orleans.

Marvelous reflection and I love that there's one boy in front of each mannequin. Brings up all sorts of thoughts about what the future holds for these boys, and whether what they learn here will affect their futures.

You get the impression that the shot was layered after the fact, but it's because it's just that well observed and shot.

Nicely done! From the thumb I thought "this looks like an old war picture" but figured it couldn't be. LOL! I always tried to take my kids to various museums at least once a year to make sure they appreciate different things and they both still love to go.

I like the saturation of color. It adds to the shot. With the two young boys and the two costumed mannequins, it makes for an interesting juxtaposition.

love the ghostly image of the soldier. the seriousness of the boys giving respect and reading....the barely there image of the flag...very cool image
