Really quite different from the original. The shape of the body of water in relation to the frame makes a clear compositional link though.

This is gorgeous and a top pick for me. I honestly don't get the correlation to the original except the title; still fantastically beautiful. This looks like Oregon or Washington to me.

This is a striking photograph with lovely color and sharp details - but I'm finding it difficult to make a comparison to the original which is so beautifully delicate, shallow dof, and kind of introspective. Even if it's the same place, same photographer (which I kind of doubt but you never know - several years have passed) they are really so different. Good job!!
