Irene.....This is spectacular.
Would you explain what is the surface you put the soap on? Glass, mirror??
I am wanting to duplicate your vision and am a photo neophyte. Could you be more specific about your lighting setup.

Really like the idea with the ripples, does a better job than what the "flood filter" tries to achieve (but never really does it right) in Photoshop - and all in-camera.
If there was any critique to offer - you have used a very sharp gradient in your selective sharpening / blurring of the area around the flower which detracts from image. Congrats on yet another ribbon - i fear you may do well in the upcoming minimalism challenge too ;) |
