 I'm very excited to be able to redo this shot of my favorite model:



However, what comes with a child of age 8 is that he no longer has the patience to sit still for mommy. What I really wanted was the dice to show two 4's. I took more shots after this one but they didn't look as good.

I'm not sure how this will do in the challenge, but I hope that it will show others that being a member of DPC can really improve your photography skills. I've come a long way since 2006 and I believe that I still have a lot to learn. So I can't wait to see what i can accomplish in another 4 years :)

Cute shot Michelle and a nice take on the original. I like the B&W and the sharp focus on his eyes. Congrats on top 20!

My maths tells me this must be a different child though he looks so similar. This image is better in every way. Super conversion. Bumping to 9.

Six years older boy than the original boy from a photo taken four years ago so I'm guessing it's a different boy and most likely a different photog. The lighting suffured in the original but not with this shot. The focus on the eye is perfect and the B&W works very well. Great shot.

very similar what i was going to do with the dice...only two dice for double digit ages (14, 15, 19....I had ideas on how to get the nine..) this is so much better than the original! no vote but likely would have been an 8...
