 The impact of a water drop with a blue background. I thought it was pretty extraordinary, and I hope others do too.

A well executed difficult shot. It has been done many times on DPC tyhough - so that removes some of the extraordinary quality.

the lighting is awesome, the composition is ok, the clarity is impeccable. too bad it's basic editing so you can't get rid of the spots below the drop. good entry.

Very nice stop action shot of water. Impressive lack of noise, too, but I guess there was enough light to prevent that. Too bad we couldn't use other tools like cloning but overall great shot.

I like the way the droplet focus light and therefore focuses the background behind it. Wonderfully captured. Probably unavoidable, but the two white streaks on the bottom third of the image distact a bit. Consider using advanced editing to prepare this as a print.

Good stop action. I think you composed and cropped it just right (rule of thirds). The two light sposts below the column are distracting, but not too much.
