 Candid shot of my niece between playing with my dogs and jumping on the couch! My first attempt at doing some portrait post-processing. I did a bunch of cloning to remove some food from the corners of her mouth (she just ate some pizza) as well as some stray strands of hair. Crop was done to remove a lot of frizzy hair. Gaussian blur applied to remove some splotches from her cheekbones, and several layer adjustments to even out the colours. Also an unsharp mask in there and a curves layer on the eyes to make them 'pop'. Overall I'm quite happy with the results. I hope DPC likes it. It is a FS, so you never know. Hoping to score above 5 on this one.

Very nice lighting...cute girl. Some choices made in post are taking away from this substantially IMO. You have good detail in the areas around her mouth and nose, but her cheeks and especially her eyes are overworked, giving her almost a plastic look (very smoothed out). Her left eye (our right) has lost all detail in the iris. These are obviously just one man's opinion... Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Lovely shot and lighting is good and comp works. Captured the cute face perfect. I need to have some pics of my own kids such as this. Whish I had the skills
