 Agility trial in Orangeville. Another photographer there kindly let me use his EF 300mm f2.8L IS USM and I was able to get up and close to the action. Lighting was terrible (this building is the worst) and I shot this at f2.8, 1/500s and 6400 ISO. Turned out not too bad. The dog is effectively frozen over the ring and in my opinion is a great action shot!

I'm guessing this will score around a 5 here on DPC, just because there aren't a lot of great colours. But personally, I'm super happy with this shot as my pre-focus is bang on, and so is my timing. No burst mode here! Just point and shoot.

Nice shot! The very bottom could have been cropped a bit tighter to lose some of that blur. Overall very nice!

About the only thing wrong (nitpicking) is that the left eye is not as sparkling as the right. Sharp!
