Challenge: Extraordinary (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Nikon D70
Location: Japan
Date: Jun 26, 2004
Aperture: F-4.5
ISO: ISO-400
Shutter: 1/60 sec

curves and cropping, no flash used, manual mode USM.

The reason i feel this fits the challenge is because it is truely extraordinary how such tiny creaturea can kill, then move such a HUGE thing maybe over 50m to their nest.

Great shot of a rare event - wonderful depth of field, and good lighting. Glad you kept it in color, b&W (as some do) would have obscured much of this. Nice shot!

It took me a second, but very funny :) I wish it was a little more focused, the graininess makes it hard to grasp right away, but a nice moment you captured.

There's too much out of focus on this shot

A little more DOF would have helped this photo I feel. Still nice and it does depict the extordanary struggle to live.

Lot's of noise. I think I would've tried to get everything in focus.

The shallow DOF does not work on this photo to me, as I would love to see more of it in focus to clearly see the attack of the ants on the spider. The leg on the front right from my perspective being OOF really hurts the image.

bit more depth of field would be better if possible.
