Very cute, nice B&W tones. Interesting idea. Still, kind of a stretch for the "waiting" topic, IMO, but better than most.

Cute child... might have been improved by something that shows that the child is waiting to grow up - arms reaching for something perhaps? You might have wanted to bounce some light onto the right hand side of her face, too, but overall I like the photo.
