Love the juxtaposition. I would have liked to see a little more light from your secondary sourse so the flame does not burn out.

With the broken bulb and the lit candle, this photo represents de-evolution to me. (Just an fyi about the message communicated and how it can be interpreted.) From a photographic standpoint, the photo looks very well lit and if you took it from just the ambient light created by the candle, it is very well done!

Nice idea! The flame is getting a tad overexposed, also causing every small particle to be visible which acts as distraction. It was a great idea though! 6

Good effort and nice idea.

The overexposed flame and end of the candle are unsightly but it's hard to get any other result.

A squarer crop might be better as the small shards don't add anything.
