| Lovely deep DOF and perfectly applied rule of thirds. B&W was a good choice. It enhances the pattern of the road. Good luck :) Bumping up to 8 |

| When you're doing a centered image, being off just a little is very noticeable. To me, this looks like the camera position wants to be just a bit to the right (photographer's perspective). Somehow I'm also bothered by the horizon bisecting the house. A lower perspective would have put the house in the sky (or maybe just sitting on the horizon). I like the strong sense of visual deception created by the angles of the sides of the jetty, leading your eye to the light house. |

| I like the authentic "film feel" to this. The composition is nice as well, although I wonder if a slightly higher or lower angle would have brought out the lighthouse better. 6 |

| Great photo, maybe a 9 in B+W Landscapes or an 8 in a free study. But Hidden Treasures? Sorry, just a 5 from me. Strike that, bumping you to a 6, just because it really is a nice pic. |
