I like it a lot but wish it were bigger. |

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for my Mu (most underrated) award:
Positives: Great idea for a shot and the gap in the flurry over the eyes makes the shot. I also really like the colours of the paper - there is the making of a masterpiece in this idea.
Critical stuff: I'm not sure that the execution matches the vision - the image is small, why did you not submit at 720px? Also, I think the lighting isn't great and as a consequence of either the lighting directly or your compensation to show us her face, you have blown the highlights on the paper. The focus isn't as sharp as it might be either.
Overall: A really good concept let down by quite poor technicals. I'd love to see you have another go at pulling this off though - I think the idea is worth the effort. |

Not entirely sure what you're trying to say here. It's an interesting picture, though far from technically perfect but it does have a certain appeal. |

Harsh light and too many shades. Didn't use full size allowed (720px). |
