my first attempt at HDR... This is FUN...

of course I don't expect much.. subject = not too exciting so hopefully I will break a 5.3..

I hate the halo it creates around the lightpole and I tried fixing that in PS, but you know, I'm just going to leave it like this.. I'm hoping someone can leave me a comment that can help.. If not, I'll ask after the voting is over.

Halo on all edges of telephone pole. The oil pumping rigs might have been more interesting if closer.

I like the framing of the scene. That was an effective use of the phone pole, which is usually a distracting element. Could perhaps use a touch more noise reduction in the clouds.

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion
