It IS the same spot, check out the dips in the trees, but , as said, congrats, both are worthy, and it is a beautiful spot for a photo. |

Congrats on this one, what I said on the blue ribbon goes for you too.
It´s great to see 2 pictures taken in the same place and both this, so similar but still so different. |

Congratulations, both your picture and Lili's are beautiful. It's so good to see two top winners from the Ottawa area. I miss Ottawa tremendously, some days more than others. And it's good to be able to put a name with your girlfriend and model.
Enjoy the cottage!

Very nice capture and congrats for the ribbon. Good job on inverting the image right to left to fool most of us into thinking that it was taken at two seperate locations. Like I told Lili, you found a great spot to shoot and executed your shots very well. Félicitations pour une autre belle job. |

It IS the exact same spot... If you notice the 2nd picture (3rd place) is a 180 degree rotation of the first shot. :) Notice the foreground rocks are on the right in "Fisherman" and in this one they are on the left.
No problem with me, they are two great shots and deserve the ribbons, good team effort! |

You have a wonderful image, great colors - great silhouette. But I think the person you were shoooting with did a better job for "waiting" with the fishing angle ("Fisherman's Patience.") Both images are great, but if I had to pick one over the other.... I don't know which has the horizontalk flip - but like the larger black area on the left side. This one (and the other one) is one of my top picks. |

I think I've seen over 20 silllhoutted (sp?) sunrise/set pictures, and they were all horrid. This, on the other hand, is soft and beautiful. |

Very nice picture. The reflections in the water are perfect. Captures the stillness of waiting. I give this one a 7 |

Very nice! I love the composition on this- the trees just hanging down into the shot are a nice touch. |

Absolutely wonderful... wish this had been taken with a slightly wider lens though, so we could have more leaves at the top. The proportions just seem slightly out in this composition. Excellent idea, mood, colours, etc. Love the pink/orange on the horizon. Lovely. 9 |

Gorgeous picture! I know there is a similar picture (exact same rock and background) like this one, so my guess is that the model is Heida and the photographer is Nazgul. ;-) Anyhow, I absolutely love the scene and how the model is positioned. So serene, very peaceful feeling. Like the other picture, I also wish there were a bit more color, perhaps more redness in the sky to compliment the overall blueness. Superb picture! |

As I commented on the "Fisherman's patience" shot, I think this is a great shot. But, it's obvious that they were both shot at the same location, only the image was reversed and the clouds are missing. Regardless, I think it's a great image and rated it at 9. |

A lovely clear shot. I find myself desperate to duck under the tree line though - I would have shot lower and lost them for a purer image. |

Every once in a while, you see a shot that's so obviously superior to the others in the challenge that it's just a race for second place. Congratulations in advance. 10 |
