Excellent picture. The blue made it better. Deserved a ribbon! |

Blue flamed candles, huh? Doesn't quite cut it. Should have gone with yellow/orange tone, sepia or black and white. |

Your choice of color perfectly conveys the mood of waiting. The disappointment and the anxiety. Lighting does a nice job of bringing out the reflections on the glass, the silverware, corkscrew and the plates. The candel flames and their reflections on the wall are little hot. I might suggest toning them down a bit. All in all, the best photo and it got my top score. Hope you ribbon.
Oh, and by the way, if it were me I wouldn't make her wait! |

That's a brilliant shot. Perfect lighting effect, and your subject's expression is timeless. |

Fantabulous! I am really drawn to this image. The blue cast is interesting, perhaps created by setting the white balance waaaay off? Or maybe a photoshop effect. Either way, it's interesting, though I'd love to see the photo with a "natural" candlelight exposure, just for fun. Nice job. |

Not sure about the blue colouring you've applied here, otherwise this is a great picture. It's a shame about the glare on the wall to the left, and the shadows above the clock. Great take on the challenge. |

I like this shot. Some people may not care for the blue tint, but I like it. |

One of the best in this challenge. The waiting attitude of the woman is absolutely perfect. Very nice compostion and I like the monochrome blue tone. - 10 |

I think this would have been great without the blue cast. It is one of the clearly staged entries in teh challenge that looks natural, but the color hurts the mood. |

Nice idea, the blue tone sets the mood and the candles show nice light and mood as well. The only one I have seen that played this angle. well done |

This is great - finally a picture that actually conveys "waiting" and not just someone fishing or sitting! The expression, and hand on glass is great, as is the use of the lighting and the clock on the wall. Good composition, nicely placed bottle of wine, opener etc., it all adds up to a lady waiting... even the blue tinge makes for a sombre mood. Great. |

Nice picture. I like the idea and feel, but I'm not a fan of the blue tint. Also, the candle placement and brightness draw the eye to them and the clock as the focal point of the image and it almost seems like the woman was thrown in as an afterthought. I will acknowledge that those elements are instrumental in creating the feel of this photo, like the woman IS an afterthought, but I can't help but wonder if the same effect could be achieved without the blue and with some careful lighting on the woman. Despite those factors, I still like this shot. :) |

A very nice waiting idea. Great effect to show it's almost 10 pm. For me, the blue lighting effect does not work when the lighting is candle light. |

Good shot. Face lit up a bit more might have worked better, but it's fine as is. |

Oh, been there, done that. You captured the feeling of "waiting" very well. The blue tones add to the "blues" of being "rejected". |

come on, who would let her wait? ;-) I like the composition, lighting and blue cast, I think the latter works really well here + I'm sure she'd actually have the blues by 9:53... |

Seems like there's a blue cast to the image. Could use some more light sources to bring out more detail. |
