I was originally going to do a staged shot representing  PixelPig, but could not find all the props I needed. I was then going to do a member by the name of "PigGlider" who shows no participation, but I found a great flying pig to represent. Several hours before rollover, I started working on this cowboy shot from the Fort Worth Stockyards the previous day. I was really pleased with it, especially considering the out of the camera shot was backlit by midday sun and showed little promise. I found 18 people with variations of "Cowboy" in thier username, but there was no "black cowboy" or "old cowboy". I went with the username of the most active of the bunch. I guess that makes this a shoehorn in a way, and it's not terribly inspired. Then again, if I had gone out to the stockyards intending do get a cowboy shot for this challenge, it would still be the same. I'm over-thinking this.
Pre-challenge notes:
I think this is a pretty good shot and hoping for a high 5 out of it. Can never tell, however. This might be the one challenge where my usual ridiculous style of humor is expected, and I failed to deliver it.
Anticipated critiques:
-uninspired shoehorn
-Over processed
Post-challenge notes:
Came in about where expected, and got the anticipated critique about the overprocessed appearance. I knew this would not have appeal for all, but it did well.
I did use some Topaz adjust on it, as one commenter mentioned, but the other major part of the appearance was a sample Nik Color Efex Pro that came with my PaintShop Pro upgrade.

Kind of over did the HDR, too strong on the colors and grain.
