This picture is one of the best guitar shots I have seen. Even if one does not care about guitars it is great because the colors are subdued and the detail is followed on lock step from foreground to top nut. very impressive work. Congratulations and kudos. dan |

Peggy, it was really tough to get the whole thing in focus. I used a 28mm (or less) teleconverter lens, and the highest Fstop possible. Then I moved back as far as possible and took about 20 or 30 shots, focusing on all different parts of the guitar until I saw a pic that looked focused on the entire length.
The great color on the guitar came from the walls of my living room area which is kind of a tan/yellowish color! And the light was natural (right side) from the sliding doors to the outside.
Glad you like it!

HOW?????? I cannot imagine . . . it's one thing to get it all in focus in a landscape, but in a STILL LIFE like this???? NO . . . how . . . .?
Genius!
Great job, and congratulations,

Very well done. This is a difficult picture to take, I'm sure, and you've done it perfectly. I might have cropped it without the plugin, but i don't play the guitar, so i don't have any emotional context. Awesome shot for the challenge. 9 |

I want to say it is a Fender. But tremelo doesn't appear to be a Strat. Nice shot, BUT I have seen this concept a million times. BUT I feel you did a good job. Do you play? I gave you a 6. |
