 This is a tiny bay on the island of Aegina off the coast of Greece, taken over 30 seconds with a X1000 neutral density filter. This filter is more transparent to red light which has emphasised the redness in the boulders (the remnants of a crumbling jetty).

It's a clever idea to try and create an otherworldly scene but I have to wonder how this looks in it's normal state? It seems as tho you might have a beautiful scene on your hands. When I see rocks and water I'm looking for a peaceful and soothing scene. Here, with the contrast and extra sharpness, it's almost an uncomfortable view.

Just some comments on your picture that could help to score higher next time:

1-Be carefull with the deep of field. Do a google search about "hyperfocal distance" to maximize your dof and avoid those foregrounds out of focus.
2-Chromatic aberrations are quite noticeable in the horizon line, but this is easily fixable in postprocesing.
3-It seems oversharpened to me, maybe a more subtle USM will help.
