Good use of tilted format. This is a format that should be used with care and thought and I think it works very effectively here. The reasons:
A: The background is so simple; just the wisps of trailing clouds.
B:The diagonal emphasizes the buildings strong lines and the dramatic shadows.
Good work! |

Very dramatic buuilding shot. Does it meet the challenge, I guess so because of the windows. Nice photo. |

i'm afraid i only see evidence of a singular light source (big star in the sky); unless of course you're counting the reflection from the glass as the second source? the shot itself is great, the building (good choice of monochrome) looks very cool in a gotham city kind of way. i do think the sky might need a bit of a play with - it just seems a bit weird, probably with the textured appearance produced by the clouds. excellent striking image - just a bit unconvinced with the title. 5. |

This is great - the building really seems to tower and stretch into the sky. Great black and white tones. |

Well done in so many ways, except the way it responds to the challenge. I particularly like the framing. I just wish that there was some evidence of a light source other than the sun. |

For multiple sources o flight..it is a stretch. Not to say it is a bad photo.
Rather... I like it! |

at last an interesting, even arresting, shot that meets the challenge. I have slight reservations about the composition - not the positioning or angle, but rather the extent to which you've pushed the building into frame, perhaps I should say the lack of extent. It's a fine blance, and I've no doubt you experimented with it, but I think I would have taken it a touch further in: I just sense that the blance of sky and building is a little too far in favour of the sky. Still, good work. 8 |

There is really only one light source in this picture, the sun. |

What other light sources (nor reflections) are there?
I only know the sun is one. |
