robberflies do stab their prey in the back ..
because this one chose one of his own species made the text particularly appropriate ..

they grab their prey in mid air and then fly back to a perch to 'consume' them ..
they often manipulate the prey so that they can stab them with their proboscis in the back of the neck ..
this may not always be the case, but i'v noticed it time after time ..
this robberfly was in the process of turning his prey to stab it in the back ..

if ppl dont know about the behaviour of robberflies they may not have seen the real connection between the action and the text ..
that's probably 99% of the population, which included me not much more than a year ago .. ..:)

seeing how many ppl recognised my style during voting and were so positive was a huge compliment .. thankyou so much .. :)

Great pic, what kind of lens are you using to get such great bug macros? Not sure how the slogan works for me. Doesn't seem to have the twist that a demotivator needs. Will certainly place well above my own, however!

The one I heard lamented bad horticulture. "With ferns, like these, who needs anemones." :}
