This is just a snap shot of a toilet with the seat left up. While it does depict a habit not a lot of thought went into showing us something new in this photo. Meeting the challenge is more than just depicting the idea but depicting it in a way that is visually pleasing and interesting. |

You are the victim of selecting an idea that many others used. You do have some irony though - the "unclean" seat bottom - and a bachelor with pretty fishy curtain. |

While it fits the topic (sort of), personally, I can find nothing artistic to praise about this shot. I suppose it would work for rental documentation, but beyond that, it's severely lacking on every major point. |

I personally didn't care for the toilet shots in this challenge, but tried not to base my scoring on that. However, I would have scored this higher with a tighter composition and focal point of interest. |

While I can appreciate the statement you are making with your title, I don't think this is a very good photo to enter in a photography contest. Do you really think anybody wants to see a picture of your dirty toilet?! I, for one, don't. On the plus side, at least it's in focus. |

It took me a while to realize that you were showing the bad habit of leaving the seat up. (and not cleaning the toilet often). There must have been a better way to present this idea. Even indoors, try first to find a way to get the shot whithout using the flash attached to your camera. That practically guarantees flat lighting. Perhaps cropping or zooming in closer on the toilet seat, and getting rid os the extraneous stuff like the sink and trash can. You are off to a good start, but you need to take that little bit of extra thought. Check all the angles, try different lightings. |

There's not much redeeming I can say about this photo unfortunately. Taking a photo of a toilet is easy, making it interesting is harder. |
