Title should have been soemthing like.... shooting tulips, or growing tulips, but its a very pretty photo.

just lacking that "wow!" factor, the background could do to be a little more out of focus, and give the flower a bit more focus.

Yes, it's a yellow tulip. I would _assume_ that the habit here is gardening, but there's really no evidence to that effect. Most people, including my self, would define a habit as an action, not a flower than could just have easilly come from the local botanical garden. It is, however, a gorgeous picture of a tulip.

A hobby is not a habit, if that is what you were aiming to depict. So you lose a point there. Nice lighting on the tulip but the background (mainly the white and purple-black pansies) is too distracting.

Technically a decent photo, but IMHO does not depict a habit of some sort, unless you have some undocumented tulip-watching or tulip-photographing habit...:o)

I love flowers, particularly yellow. But I really can't put this with the challenge at all.

I have a pretty good imagination, but I can't figure out how this is in any way related to the challenge. The lighting on the flower is nice, but the half dark half light background pulls too much attention away from the flower.

Might have been nicer if the subject was closer. Or the shot was taken from an angle more to the right to eliminate the shadows in the background.
