That was exactly my thought. Creepy. Cute baby and great capture of his expression (although the skin rash is kind of unappealing for such a formal looking portrait). The black on black was a bad idea in my opinion but I guess it worked out for you since it placed fairly high.

Eeewwww.... Should never let a kid's first habit be playing in the hair gel!!! That's just WAY messy! ::huge grin::

Honestly, I like it. It's cute, it's homey, it's warm. Technically it's got good skin tone, the focus is solid, and the composition leaves little to be desired. Unfortunately, I am left guessing what the topic of the shot is, or rather, what the "habit" is that we're going for here. While I enjoy the shot, I can't pull enough topic out of it to rank it highly.

Pretty cool shot, I think I still have this habit. I like the blonde hair and eyes against the dark background. I think the whack hair and bit of the tounge adds to this picture. Great shot.
