Hi and greetings from the CC
I like that you did not include the other tap, it makes for a little more interesting shot. Generally a good shot in a hard challenge. I like that you chose a subject with interesting and older hands. The lighting seems a bit off somehow perhaps set for outdoors vs. indoors? I would like to see it with the drainage hole PSed out perhaps (tho know u cant for this challenge) it is a little bit distracting. I would also like to see this shot as a B&W with a bit more contrast.
overall well done.
happy shooting.

This is beautiful! Lovely light and contrasting textures. The color is seductive! The triplet reflection in the hardware is the only (minor) draw back--wouldn't be so minor if it were blown up though. Still, my pick for the win. Thank you for sharing those lovely hands!

Overlooking the fact that I keep trying to make out the face in the reflection, I really like the tones used in the shot (as a b&w, this would have really suffered), there's just the right amount of lather to dictate the action, and the age of the hands gives us all the clues we need to tie it to "habits". Great work! A solid 9 from me.

You've managed to make a mundane scene a bit more appealing than some others who attempted this shot. I think part of the appeal is the warm lighting, the gleaming faucets, and the wrinkles in her hands. It is still mundane and I don't love it (I ask myself, would I look at this as art outside the challenge guidelines) but it is well executed.

Good habit, great pic. Great lighting and dof. There is a lot of neutral color here, I may have taken this particular picture in b/w (maybe even with -0.3 or more Exposure Comp) to give the faucet and hands a little more contrast against the white sink and cream colored wall. Just my thoughts. Still a quality picture.

I was going to do the same thing! You did it better (plus you have a better faucet!). Only thing distracting is the reflections in the faucet. Nice job. I was going to insinuate in my entry this was a person with OCD who washed his/her hands 100 times a day. Anyway, nice clean shot!

In my opinion, black and white would worked MUCH better!

Good compostion and focus. It looks a bit orangy on my screen. Definetly a good habit.

nice shot, warm, lively, great choice of hands and other elements. might have been better if face and expression could be seen in the chrome better or the opposite would be to pull away a bit to see more of the sink.

Yes i t meets the challenge, but jesus is it boring !! - Sorry don't mean to be rude, but thats what hit me. It needs some better lighting and something other than skin tones and peach/gold.

Please don't take offence at my comments, I do mean to help by pointing out my first impressions - they are usually the most reliable.

Nice colors, like the sharpness, detail, and POV. Photo isn't very exciting though. Good job overall.
