Underrated by a mile! Should have scored a LOT higher! I know how hard it is to get to that particular spot, not to mention the perfect timing of the camel walking by. |

DPC is such a puzzle. I am surprised this didn't ribbon; on the other hand, considering what seems to be the ribbon taste, I have to be pleased this did as well as it did. It simply crowns all the reading I have been doing about the history of India, including the present day. In any case this will live longer than the others. |

It's now bump city for you, just in the nick of time. The more I look, the better I like :-) Moving you to the 9 group, and good luck in the challenge!
I think what really does it for me is the sheer incongruity (in my mind at least) of a wading camel! |

Voted earlier coming back to vote now. I see this young boy strolling in the waters with his camel in tow. He is returning home after a successful day at the market - everything loaded on the camel's back this morning has been sold. He is happy for he returns home to his father with his pockets full of money. This is why he choose to travel home this way past the Taj Mahal. If any thief tried to steal, they would be heard far more easily. This is the story I see with this capture. Love all the details seen in the architecture on the Taj Mahal as well as the human element (the boy and the camel) that brings a story with it. I also like the sepia tones that add to the look, mood and feel that this picture was captured on film decades ago. A memory of a moment in time long since past. Great capture! |

Incredible, I can't fault it. 10 from me and I hope you get the blue.
Having gone hunting a little - this must be Tez - fabulous image, I hadn't seen before which is also great, but for me the figure and camel foreground enhances what is already a spectacular background. The vignette here is just right too.... and that's before we get to the tones, the light..... I'm getting boring now - I'll shut up! |

Wonderful balance between the two main elements of the shot. Cloudy overcast look to the sky is reflected in the downcast pose of the boy and there is clear separation between the power and wealth of the Taj Mahal facing out of the shot whilst the boy and camel are at right angles to it, ignoring it and passing it by. |

That's a lovely capture... the guy with Camel and Taj in background...I love that. I wish you could process(edit) the image a little differently to keep the Taj clean and bright and darken the sky.. I would just pop then...Its a shame that such a capture is not treated well..I hope after the challenge is done you do some edits and print a poster and keep it...

First of all, I love the beautiful tones in this images. But adding the boy and the camel and then composing them as you have done here really kicks this up another notch. (9 for now, but maybe a 10 when I make my final pass) |

wow, great image, the Taj Mahal is so beautiful and sharp, and the camel and boy in the water in front, almost like two images in one, well done |
