Interesting effect, people have thier own mini frames
03/17/2009 10:12:32 AM
Cool perspective... i like the one guy that seems to be pushing his cart... looks like he has a lot of work to do.
03/17/2009 09:36:37 AM
Interesting framing, I think it worked out well because it seems like every biker is framed by one of the shapes!
03/17/2009 07:10:47 AM
I love the hustle and bustle of the street scene through this honeycomb
03/17/2009 06:19:50 AM
It is interesting how you have gt so many different vehicles in each honey-grove. Very nice!
03/17/2009 06:04:22 AM
a window on the world...
03/16/2009 03:49:35 PM
Great capture! A lucky one off, or hours of patient waiting?
03/16/2009 08:53:15 AM
ok I see why did you take it from behind but it could be as good as it is even from the front of the window and maybe even better ... just four from me sorry (coz it leaned too)

good luck though and take care,
brano

I think this is a very nice photo, but I would like to see some more colors. As it is now they sort of blend into each other. If possible try an overlay effect in photoshop, many have that program these days, or something similar with another program. This could be a very very good photo.
03/16/2009 12:06:47 AM
great concept
03/15/2009 07:26:19 PM
This is great. I love it. Each hexagon is a portal to a different story.

Very interesting image with the bustle outside compartmentalized individually in windows created by the honey comb like structure in front. 7

I almost passed this great image by. It was only as the screen refreshed that I caught the magic of the scene captured through the individual hexagonal shapes, so I came back to re-appraise. I might have cropped off the top 1/3 to keep the emphasise on the action below. Just a thought. I hope the voters don't make the same mistake I did. Well done and good luck for the rest of the challenge.

Lovely seeing the hustle and bustle of the street outside. I may have boosted the saturation a little to make it really pop, but nevertheless, still a high score from me

You couldn't really have asked for better positioning of all the vehicles! I wonder how long you had to wait. I like the way this grill gives order to an otherwise busy and probably chaotic road.

I wonder how long it took for the scene outside to unfold so that the various elements were all in the right place. A photograph to explore.

I like the unique way the openings divide this up into smaller mini-scenes. The individuals all seem to fall into place as if planned.

This is terrific! Like a dozen or so little movies all running at once. Like an electronics retail store with every television set tuned to a different channel. It's not just a striking idea ... it's also a very clever one, as it makes a point about how everyone in this obviously busy city is also in his own little world. Together and separate. Nice. 8.

Keep this up and I'll throw a "hex" on you. LOL Very nice street scene, with the compartmentalization. Congrats.

I would consider cropping off the top third, just above the signs of each of the store fronts. That would direct your attention more to the people, the real interest in my opinion. Still cool angle.

an interesting viewpoint for sure... I don't know what to comment about--I guess there isn't necessarily anything in the shot that grabs me.. maybe if it were taken at a time of day when the lighting was more dramatic, or maybe b&W treatment (I just tried it in Photoshop black and white w/ a bit more contrast--see what you think...)
03/12/2009 05:37:37 AM
Lots to take in with this photo. Nice shot :)

I'm guessing that the odd coincidence of each of the frames being filled so nicely made this image an obvious choice for you. This is a real eye teaser.
