| Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo. |

Lovely. I wish she were actually centered (or not) instead of just a bit off center... especially since she's looking the 'short' way. But, I like the BW and the motion of her hair.

| Unfortunately it looks as though your subject was looking almost straight into the sun. It looks as though this had two effects: She could not keep her eyes open very much, and the right side of her body is completely blown out. An interesting photo though. |

| There's a lovely 1960s quality about this, as if Helena is a movie star of that era who turned out to be far too good and complex for the movie industry's subsequent slide into superficiality and banality. A very fine portrait. 7. |

| While I am not opposed to centered composition, it doesn't work for me here. Fortunately there are many other positive aspects of this shot and I can just crop one side off in my mind and still give it a good score. :) |

| There is something very timeless about this photograph, I always see that as a good thing. I also like how she seems lost in her thoughts, hair obscuring most of her face...the longer you look at this, the more appealing it becomes and you find yourself smiling with her. |
