 Before I bought my Nikon D40 I would take my brothers Z650.
I'm not very good with Photoshop, so i have done no editing to this picture other then resizing.
The image was taken on a beach at around 5 in the morning.
Any and all criticism would be helpful.

I like the muted color, this is relaxing. It looks like the horizon is tilted down to the left a bit.

I like the idea of this.. .but the water seems like a second place to the tree as the subject since the tree is in focus and the horizon is not.

this is a bit chaotic, its empty on one hand but on the other , there is the uncomplete tree that is confusing me lol

I'm not sure where to look, but mainly I'm drawn to the tree. But, it doesn't seem that the tree is the point of your picture... hmmmm...

the dark lower left corner is disturbing the calmness of the shot, could have been cropped off. horizon seems to be tilted, too

i would crop the sand a little in the bottom right corner. it is distracting from the overall peace of the image.

I love the ambiguity of the horizon here, and the pastel colours are gorgeous, but I can't help but look for a dramatic point of focus which isn't there.
