 I made the settings on the camera mounted on a tripod. walked into the water and sat on that stone while Heida snapped away a few shots.

It was a cold night and my feet got wet so you better give me some credit for that too;)

That's not bird droppings on the rock - it's Nazgul poo!

Very nice shot, if a little too centred for my taste! ; )
How long did you have to sit there before the ripples dispersed?

I liked this photo, but there are some every distracting elements that hurt it. First the white (bird droppings?) on the rock totally pulls the viewers attention away from the person sitting on the rock. Two, a more minor point, the water looks great, the sky looks great, however, the coastline in the distant is a little boring to view. I think the sky has great detail that is lost; if perhaps the photo was titled up a little bit so that there was more sky I would have given it a higher rating.

This is a very interesting shot. Centered. Focus and clarity are good. Lighting creates a nice mood here as well. Overall, the only thing that I could say is that it's not exactly centered. But not a big deal at all. I like the colors and definately like the mood. ~Heather~

I like the depth of this image - it brings together many excellent techniques. Foreground / background balance, neat reflection, dramatic sky... It's obvious when thought goes into an image, and this is well done!

The dark tones to this image lend well to the meditation title. Overall a bit too soft for my tastes as I would rather see sharper details in an image such as this.

Very nice and compelling image, but the birdie stuff on the rock is disturbing. Not your fault it's there but I think you could have cloned it away if you'd really wanted? Border works nicely on a centered subject I think.
